Hi!
Denzel is a Filipino-American illustrator based in New Jersey, USA. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Animation and Illustration at Montclair State University, and a Master of Arts in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design.
His work explores the often dysfunctional relationship between different cultures and mental health, in particular amongst marginalized communities. He's driven to make art that pushes for social progress and challenges others to be more open-minded and empathetic. He works both digitally and traditionally in watercolor, pen and inks.
Other than being an artist, he's also a halfway decent tennis player, an occasional songwriter/ singer, and for some reason a horror junkie. He's open for commissions and bad puns.
